15.1" (38.5cm) Large Flared Scalloped Octagonal Lotus-Shaped Green Glazed Deep Bonsai Pot

A large, deep glazed bonsai pot with a scalloped octagonal, lotus-like form. The body is divided into eight softly curved sections by subtle vertical ribs, while the walls flare outward toward a broad, gently shaped rim. Its green glaze is contrasted by considerably darker brown tones around the rim and base, creating a noticeable two-tone finish. With an internal depth of 6.1" (15.5 cm), this is suitable for substantial, established bonsai that need considerably more root depth than a typical shallow display pot. The soft green glaze would pair especially well with azalea, flowering quince, crabapple, pomegranate, pyracantha, Japanese maple, trident maple, and other flowering or deciduous bonsai. Its depth and visual weight make it particularly interesting for powerful informal upright, slanting, and semi-cascade compositions, including flowering semi-cascades.
